Honestly, I wasn’t sure how a Carnival Cruise would compare to the Disney Cruise I went on for my friend’s wedding. I had my doubts, but I went in pretty optimistic. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed with Carnival. Christina and I had an amazing time on our cruise. One of our favorite activities (which I somehow have no photos of) was attending the daily Art Auction on our sea days. They give you free champagne, a small art print for attending, and about an hour of fun, invigorating bidding. Plus, if you “like it just like it” fast enough, you might score some Carnival Cruise Line paraphernalia. Here are some other things we greatly enjoyed on board.
The Taste Bar provided small appetizer bites every evening before dinner. This is a great way to sample food from the restaurants that cost extra to eat at.
We also enjoyed the mini golf on the top deck of the ship at the Sports Park.
Christina got on the Magician’s show and I was picked as a contestant on Hasbro the Game Show!
We didn’t spend much time in the pool, simply because it was always crowded. This particular evening was probably the one time it was fairly empty.
We also enjoyed many evenings enjoying the sunset, watching the world sail by. Seriously, there is nothing better than watching the water, the ocean breeze in your hair as the sun is setting… perfection!
Stick around for more adventures onboard the Carnival Fantasy!
