Before our trip, one thing I was excited to see were the iconic Red Sandy Shores of PEI. I mentioned them in my post about our arrival to PEI, and while that was exciting, actually enjoying them on the beach was even better.
When we went on our Matthew’s carriage ride, we talked about going to the beach, and our driver kindly told us of a great beach to go to. We made our way there later that evening to watch the sunset, and to date it was the most gorgeous sunset I have ever seen. It was truly remarkable. Plus, we had the beach almost completely to ourselves, which was another huge win! I wish I could tell you exactly how to get to the beach, I’m not even certain if I would be able to find it again (I certainly hope so!)… but it is near the Anne of Green Gables museum. Maybe if you find yourself there, turn down some of those residential looking roads and see if you find the beach! If you do, let me know! I’d love to know the exact street to turn down to get there.
Anyways, here are some images from this gorgeous evening.
I still cannot get over the beauty of this sunset.
